I have always thought of myself as a writer and storyteller.  My friends and family would say I like to talk things out. Like A LOT!  I love the social aspect of digging deep into a situation.  This is why writing, teaching and speaking, well, speaks to me!

I live in a rural part of Southern Ontario with my husband of 23 years and our two teens.  Upon being diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age of 42, I decided to step into a role where I could intentionally share my experiences through writing, speaking and teaching. I started journalling about my experiences through this disease as a way to keep everyone connected and up to date on my health.  I founded stephiemassey.com with a mission to give others a taste of what it's like to live in my shoes.
